Tower of Hell levels represent accumulated climb progress and provide skill points under current community documentation. The detailed formula is not stated in the official Roblox description, so use this page as a checked calculator, then compare it with the current in-game level panel before planning a long grind.
Current community-documented rules
Community sources consistently describe one earned coin as one experience point. They describe the requirement for each next level as increasing by 100 XP: reaching level 1 needs 100 total XP from the starting point, the next step needs another 200, then 300, and so on. They also document one skill point per level.
These are version-sensitive gameplay details. Server changes, reward rebalancing, or a redesigned progression UI could make an old formula wrong even when a page keeps a recent edit date.
Calculate the next level
If your current level is L, the documented XP needed to advance one more level is:
next level cost = 100 × (L + 1)
For example, a player at level 4 would need 500 XP for level 5 under this rule. Use the current progress bar to confirm the same requirement. If the live interface disagrees, follow the live value and treat this formula as historical until reverified.
Estimate cumulative XP
The sum of the first L level costs forms a triangular sequence:
total XP for level L = 50 × L × (L + 1)
That gives 500 XP at level 2, 1,500 XP at level 5, and 5,500 XP at level 10 under the documented model. These examples explain the formula; they do not promise how quickly a particular player earns them.
Connect coins and XP
If coins and XP remain one-to-one, an action that awards coins also advances the same amount of level progress. Confirm both displays after a normal completion. Temporary server conditions, gamepasses such as Double Coins, and special rewards may affect what you see, so do not assume every bonus multiplies both systems identically without a live test.
Record the before-and-after coin and XP values in one session. This is stronger evidence than an old earnings table because it captures the current version and your actual server state.
Earn progress through consistent runs
The most reliable improvement is reaching more sections and finishing more often. Practice ordinary movement without a gear until the route is readable. Use safe platforms to observe cycles, avoid untested shortcuts during completion attempts, and diagnose one error after a fall.
A fixed “XP per hour” estimate is misleading without completion rate, tower type, current rewards, server modifiers, and paid multipliers. Track several personal sessions instead: start value, end value, minutes played, and wins. Use the median rather than your best run when planning.
Understand skill-point milestones
Current community documentation says each level awards one skill point and that the tree contains enough progression to be completed at level 80. Verify both claims in the live tree before treating level 80 as a permanent maximum target. A future expansion could add nodes or change point requirements.
Spend points only after reading current node text. The skill tree guide explains branch choice and testing.
Troubleshoot a mismatch
If the displayed XP does not match this model, first verify you are in the official Universe 703124385. Reopen the progression panel and note current level, bar values, and server state. Check whether a purchase or event modifies coins but not XP. Complete one ordinary section or tower and compare both values again.
Do not use an external calculator that asks for a Roblox login, cookie, or recovery code. A calculator only needs the visible level values.
Keep a progress log
- Date and official Place ID
- Starting level and XP
- Current next-level requirement
- Starting and ending coin totals
- Tower type and completed rounds
- Active gamepass or server modifier
- Skill points gained
- Any mismatch with the documented formula
This small record creates a current, reproducible answer. It also separates actual progression from time spent waiting between rounds.
Sources and confidence
The official Roblox record confirms the experience identity. Coins-to-XP equivalence, the 100-point linear level step, one point per level, and the level-80 tree completion are community-documented rules reviewed August 23, 2026. They must be verified against the current live interface after updates.
